With Easy Link, you can:

1.  Use a File Link to link an Item to a file, offline (such as a PowerPoint presentation on your computer) or online (such as http://www.AmazingVisio.com). 

Easy Link gives you a very intuitive interface to easily define and test your links (such as to pick up a document location identified by a bookmark or worksheet) and to best present your information (such as to maximize a document window).

In addition to showing a linked file with its designated tool, such as a Web page in a browser, you can show the file on the File tab of the Easy Link Window.  This way, the file becomes an integrated component of your drawing and is easier to present and discuss.

(Any file that shows in your Web browser can show on the Tab, such as a Word document, an Excel spreadsheet, a PDF file, a PowerPoint presentation, a plain text file, or a Web page)

Now you can use your drawing to collect and present information anywhere and in any format.

2. Use an Item Link to jump from one Item to another in any drawing (such as from a high-level flowchart to a detailed one).    

To define an Item Link is extremely simple.  You click the first Item and then the second one.  They can be in the same drawing, or different ones.

Two links instead of one will be automatically created to link the Items back and forth.  All you need to do is enter meaningful descriptions and start using them.

3. Use Bookmarks to jump to any Items in any drawings from the Easy Link window. 

With Bookmarks and Item links, You can easily establish relationships between different drawings or different parts of the same drawing.  This gives you the ability to easily collect, analyze, and present complex information.

4. Rename or move your linked files and have Easy Link automatically keep your links and bookmarks alive.

Easy Link is smart enough to detect the file name and / or location change and update all the links for the file automatically.

In the case that a link can not be automatically corrected, Easy Link will inform you graphically (    ) so that you can correct it yourself.

5. Use a Repository to better organize your work. 

A Repository is a regular file folder and all its sub-folders.  You can use a Repository to keep all your related files together.  You can import files from outside.

You can easily Pack all your drawings and linked files in a Repository into a single, compressed file and unpack it on any computer.  The file is easy to keep and share.  And you no longer need to worry about losing important information.

6. Write memos with a full screen editor.  Compared with the built-in Data Fields that show only a few words, you can now easily add detailed information to an Item.

More over, Easy Link adds the Data Fields capability to Page.  Therefore you can enter information for a Page the same way as you do for a Shape.

7. Publish your work on Web with Easy Publish.
