A Source file is the one to copy from and a Destination file is the one to copy to.  Click the down arrow and you will see a list for all the files currently open in Visio.  Make your choices and then click the OK button.

This message means that you have only one file opened in Visio:

  visio_EasyMerge_FileError.PNG (8831 bytes)

Simply close Easy Merge, open two or more files in Visio and then try again.

  1. To merge multiple drawings, open all the Source files to be merged in Visio before starting Easy Merge.  You can then merge them one after another by choosing a different Source file from this window.

  2. To split a drawing, create a blank drawing and use it as the Destination file.

  3. To split a drawing into multiple files, open all the Destination files (or create a set of blank drawings) before starting Easy Merge.  You can then split them one after another by choosing a different Destination file from this window.
