Deploying Published Files

After publishing your drawing, all the files generated are stored in this folder.  Simply deploy them to your Web server with an FTP tool or via direct network access.

File Types

There are different types of files generated:

  1. The Web pages
  2. The page pictures and icons (for printing and Previous / Next)
  3. The JavaScript and CSS files for menu and hyperlink display

Smiley_01.gif (634 bytes) Remember to copy your own files to this folder for deployment, for example your company logo that has been added to a template.

Deleting Extra Files

You may have used different options to find out the best results, such as:

  • To has a View All Page or Printing Page
  • To use a scalable file for printing

These actions will add files to the folder.  Later on you may change your mind, such as not to use a scalable file.

To avoid deploying extra files, try these simple steps:

  1. Use a dedicated file folder to keep generated files.  Create a new one for example.
  2. Delete all the files in the folder before generating the final copy.
