Using Format Painter to Apply the Nice Look And Feel of Amazing Visio Shapes to Your Shapes

Amazing Visio offers a set of commonly used shapes.  You can easily use the Format Painter to make any shape in your drawing look the same as an Amazing Visio shape:

  1. Insert an Amazing Visio shape into the drawing.  Change its look and feel if you prefer.

  2. Click the Format Painter icon visio_Tutorial_All_FormatPainter.PNG (323 bytes) on the Format toolbar.  A brash is added to your mouse pointer.

Smiley_01.gif (634 bytes) Tip: To format more than one shape, double click (i.e. to quickly click your left mouse button twice) the Format Painter instead.  The brash will stay at your mouse pointer and you will be able to click as many shapes as you want to change them one by one.  Press the Esc key to get rid of the brash and return to the normal edit mode when you are finished.

  1. Click your shape.  Now the shape looks the same as the Amazing Visio Shape.  The brash is no longer on the mouse pointer.
