2. Publishing Your Drawing Offline
This tutorial shows you the process to publish your drawing to Word,
PowerPoint, and others.
1. Publishing Your Drawing to Word
Use these steps to publish your drawing to Microsoft Word (version 97 or
later).
Ensure that you have gone through tutorial one.
Choose Word from the following list.

Optionally choose . This will
save a copy of the page pictures inside of your Word document.
Open a Word document or create one. Type in some text and place
the insertion point where you want the drawing pages to be.
Click the button. The selected
pages will be inserted into your Word document. You can move and resize the pictures
as any regular pictures.
2. Editing Your Drawing
Use these steps to edit the source pages and refresh the insertions.
Click the Close button to close Easy Publish.
Close the sample Visio drawing.
Click a page insertion in the Word document, such as the second page.
Click this icon and then
choose this menu item:

The sample drawing is opened in Visio with the selected drawing page
displayed.
Edit this page, optionally other pages as well, and then publish them
again. Insertions in the Word document will be refreshed automatically.
3. Publishing Your Drawing to PowerPoint
Use the above process but choose PowerPoint from this list:
Open a PowerPoint presentation (version 97 or later).
Click the Publish button. All the pages will be inserted into the
same slide.
To insert one drawing page per slide, publish one page a time to the
corresponding slide.
4. Publishing Your Drawing to Other
Software Packages
You can choose Manually from this list to publish your drawing
pages to any software packages that support OLE.
Easy Publish will show you the folder with all the PNG files for the drawing pages. Simply
insert these files into the the software's document. Check the online help of the
software for more information.
