Tutorial for Amazing Visio - Easy Publish
1. Preparing Your Drawing for Publishing

This tutorial shows you the process to generate page pictures and optionally to add captions and rotate pages.

Use these steps to download a sample drawing.  Alternatively, you can use your own drawing.

  1. Create a folder c:\My Tutorial

  2. Click your right mouse button here and then choose Save Target As to download a sample drawing Tutorial_2_Pages.vsd 

  3. Save the drawing into the folder you just created

  4. Double click the drawing to open it with Visio

Use these steps to generate a set of high quality PNG pictures for all the drawing pages. 

  1. Click this icon visio_EasyPublishIcon.PNG (235 bytes) on this toolbar, this window shows:

  2. Click the Select button to toggle all the selection, or click each page to toggle the page selection.

  1. Click the Caption button, the following window shows.  Type in My Caption and then click the OK button.  Note that a "*" has been added to the page name display.

  2. Change the text display options.

  1. Click the Left button, the window looks like this now:

  2. Click the Preview button or double-click the page display, the full-size drawing page shows in your browser (or a tool that handles the PNG file display).
